This beer uses a water profile emulating the central coast of California, providing the perfect foundation for a simple malt base that supports an absolutely classic hop grist - Columbus, Simcoe, Cashmere, Amarillo and Centennial are all used throughout the boil.
An extra whirlpool addition of Chinook and Simcoe provides sticky orange, stone fruits and a hearty pine resin bitterness. This underpins a charge of Centennial, Citra and even more Simcoe in the dry hop to provide a refreshingly clean, robustly bitter expression of one of our most beloved styles of beer.
